Livvy and I are so proud of Abundant Grace Fellowship church in Madisonville, KY for their hard work to raise money for missions! When God tells you to do something and you do it, this is what happens! Thank you so much for sharing your story with us! Praise God for how He is helping you do something with ordinary gifts and talents to do something for HIM! As you can see, this church has been able to see how to do something for God in ways that are not just from the Samaritan’s Purse catalog and though that is OUR first choice, we love hearing about other projects as well! We are so grateful that our story helped them think outside the box and try something creative as well!
This is the message we got from them today:
This has been our story. We set out for a lady in our church named Pat Durall to teach our children to make bread but actually the orders were overwhelming and Pat has found her call into missions! She filled the orders with the help of Candi Lamb, our Youth Pastor, and also April Winstead, our Missions Coordinator. We presented Pat with a KitchenAid Mixer (she has wanted one for years) for her hard work and now she doesn’t want to stop….lol. On her own, she is taking more orders and continuing to make bread and giving all the money to missions. We are well over 700.00 and counting – all for BGMC (Boys and Girls Missions Crusade) and Speed-The-Light, two branches of the Assemblies of God missions program. I am going to attach pictures and I will tell you something about each one. You feel free to use whatever you need to. Gabe and Livvy – this is fruit that will be attributed to your ministry when you stand before the Lord! The monies going to the Assemblies of God missions programs will help win the lost and it is because of both of you and your obedience to the call of God. We would have NEVER even thought of anything like this if I had not seen and shown your video to the church. God bless you both! Proverbs 11:25 says “The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.” This is definitely #sweetgiving
